LAMAULD, is a soft, rustic and 1-ply yarn consisting of 50% llama wool and 50% Peruvian Highland wool.
The color chart in LAMAULD is beautifully composed of natural (undyed), melange and solid tones, specially made for CaMaRose.

The natural colors (undyed) in LAMAULD are  6000 OFF WHITE  , 6080 MEDIUM GREY , 6100 IVORY  6180 SAND , 6920 LIGHT BROWN MELANGE and  6930 MOTHER OF PEARL
The running length is 100 m / 50 g. The recommended knitting tension is 17-18 mx 24 p, the recommended needle size is 4.5-5 mm.

Lama wool fibers are an exclusive natural product, lanolin-free, light and strong. The hollow structure of the fibers provides exceptionally good insulation, which is why lamauld is significantly warmer than regular sheep wool.
The yarn's rustic expression, high insulation and strength make LAMAULD particularly suitable for classic Nordic sweaters and cardigans, outerwear and blankets.

The yarn's spinning means that LAMAULD only unfolds completely when it has been knitted and rinsed. A knitted and washed sample is therefore highly recommended to get the full impression of the yarn's properties, expression and softness. Lama wool naturally has very varying fiber lengths, which gives excess fibers in the working process. The majority of these fibers are rinsed out during the first washes, which makes the result even softer.

The recommended needle size to achieve the same knitting tension with HØST as with LAMAULD is needle no. 4.5.

LAMAULD from CaMaRose is produced in Peru.
