CaMaRose Organic Summer Wool

 Organic Summer Wool is processed and spun exclusively for CaMaRose from 100% organic merino and cotton fibers from a European manufacturer.

The 100% organic and new fibers are spun into a classic three-ply off-white base yarn which is subsequently dyed in  unique colors made especially for CaMaRose.

Organic Summer Wool is a classic three-ply blend yarn consisting of 70% organic merino wool and 30% organic cotton. Organic Summer Wool has a running length of 230 m per 50 g. The recommended knitting tension is 26-28 stitches x 40 needles and the recommended needle size is 2.5 – 3.5 mm.

The combination of merino wool and cotton in the summer wool provides a lightness and softness that is particularly suitable for baby and children's knitting. The combination of merino wool and cotton provides a delicious alternative to 100% wool and can be used for summer tops, t-shirts and blouses without getting too hot but warm enough for the often cool Nordic summers.

The color chart in  Organic Summer Wool is designed with an eye to combining neutral, contrasting or tone on tone as well as to melange by knitting with two threads. The colors are inspired by the colors and light of the North and the color chart is regularly expanded in line with current trends so that it is always updated and inspiring for individual color combinations.

Organic Summer Wool is suitable for crocheting and with its cotton content gives good shape stability and with its 70% wool it does not become heavy when you crochet or knit larger blankets.  With Organic Summer Wool you get all the benefits of natural fibers combined with high quality and not least great work satisfaction in the process, where you have to handle the yarn for many good hours of knitting, crocheting and embroidery.
